Celebration ride - to Ripley for ice cream and back

Easy beginners ride from Harrogate to Ripley (and back).  Meet at Dragon Road car park next to Asda where the start of the cycle path to Ripley is at 1.30pm.  We aim to leave at 1.30pm so come early if you need any bike checks or adjustments.  This is a social ride set up by Liferiders so you are responsible for yourselves and any children with you but we will have some team there to give advice and make sure everyone is ok.  The route is smooth and flat and on cycleway all the way (2 road crossings).  We will pause in Ripley for refreshments and then cycle back.  We will be going at an easy pace so please make sure kids stay with the group (or you stay with them!)  Distance is about 5 miles each way.  There is a large free car park at Ripley if you don't want to ride both ways and you can arrange for someone to meet you at Ripley.
