23 mile ride Greenbank Lane to Pickerings Pasture

OUR ROUTE We cycle from the Greenbank container through Allerton and then onto the Loop line at Well Lane. The Loop line takes us to Halewood where we cycle on roads to Halebank and Pickerings Pasture. From there we cycle to Hale where we'll stop for refreshments at the Childe of Hale.  We head back through Speke and Garston, along Otterspool Prom and through Festival Gardens & Sefton Park.

BIKES AVAILABLE TO BORROW FOR THIS RIDE  If you don't have a working bike we can lend you one for free for this ride.

WHO IS THE RIDE SUITABLE FOR?  Anyone who is used to cycling on the road and who wants to explore new routes. We will be going at 8-10mph.  Any bike able to be ridden safely on the road & comfortable for a 23 mile ride is suitable.

WHAT TO BRING * A drink for the ride & money for the cafe * Clothes suitable for the weather - please check the forecast and dress appropriately before leaving home * Make sure your bike is in good working order with the tyres pumped up
