Sophie Unwin

Visually impaired para-cyclist and world champion

Sophie started tandem riding two years ago and was paired with Jenny Holl as her pilot.

In May 2021 Sophie and Jenny competed in their first race. A couple of months later they won the Road Race at the World Championships, then went to the Tokyo Paralympics, winning bronze in the Individual Pursuit and silver in the Road Race. This year they won the Road Race at the European Championships and the Time Trial at the World Championships.
