Sophie grew up cycling on the fantastic disused railway trails of the Peak District, on a tag-along on the back of her dad's bike. Now she is Cycling UK's off-road campaigns officer and inspiring others to enjoy adventures by bike. She works tirelessly to curate beautiful, long-distance routes for cyclists of all types to enjoy, such as King Alfred's Way.

Last year she cycled to Glasgow for the COP26 climate summit to help raise awareness of the power of the bicycle.
