Sharon gives up a huge amount of time to support cycling. After watching a time trial with her dad in 2016, she volunteered to marshal. Nowadays there's not much she doesn't do.

As well as timekeeping most weekends, Sharon organises and marshals at races, works sign on, sets out signage, promotes online and administers for clubs. She is liked and respected by everyone, and has encouraged more women to participate in time trialling.
