As a mum of two, Saskia was frustrated with the lack of safe infrastructure in her local area. In 2021 she co-founded Kidical Mass Bath - a regular group ride where families take to the streets to show that people of all ages and abilities want to cycle. Saskia has also helped other groups across the UK to set up their own events.

As Bicycle Mayor for Bath, Saskia has raised the profile of cycling in Bath and beyond. She has recently joined the family cycling website Cycle Sprog as content editor.
