Liz Matthews

Bikeability instructor and cycle coach

Liz took up cycling 10 years ago after neglecting her health – and her bike – for too long. Those first short rides led to cycling from Land’s End to London, raising £2,000 for charity, her first road bike, a job in a bike shop, training as a Bikeability instructor and British Cycling coach and finally starting her own business: Cyclebuddy. She teaches adults and children to ride, inspiring them with her love of cycling.

“I love getting women riding further and faster than they dreamed. But I also love starting off those young kids. It’s such a privilege.”
