Julie Cunningham

Cycling UK development officer for women & girls in Scotland

Julie returned to cycling in 2015 after a friend set up Belles on Bikes Falkirk and asked if Julie would help. She has since trained to be a ride leader, a Play Together on Pedals instructor and bike mechanic. As Cycling UK’s development officer for women and girls in Scotland, she promotes cycling to women and girls, providing vital support and advice to create sustainable groups and networks.

“I enjoy cycling for everyday journeys as well as for leisure. I also work part time at Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre in Grangemouth and the ranger has installed a bike rack on site.”
