Hetty is the Director of Operations for Running Out of Time, the longest non-stop relay ever attempted taking a message from young people to world leaders at COP27. The relay started in Glasgow and thousands of people ran, cycled, rowed and sailed the 7767km to Egypt taking 40 days to cross 18 countries.

Hetty is also a director of the Women’s Trad Festival a climbing festival in the Peak District and a researcher. Her latest project Turning the Cogs is focused on the diversity of cycling events. Hetty works to improve accessibility, inclusivity and participation in the outdoors.
