Love to Ride

This year we’re linking up with Love to Ride to offer some fantastic prizes and incentives to help everyone who takes part in Bike Week continue to ride all year round.

Love to Ride work with government, local and combined authorities, workplaces, advocacy organisations, independent bike shops, cycling brands, clubs and social cycling groups to get more people on bikes. Their year-round programme of events encourages, incentivises and rewards riding and provides a platform for people who are passionate about cycling to help others to (re)discover the joys and benefits of getting around by bike.

The Love to Ride site allows you to record rides, set goals, share stories and photos and encourage others, as well as linking with popular apps like Strava, Ride App and MapMyRide.

Ride and Win

To give you as many opportunities as possible to ride and win, everyone who logs a ride anywhere, any time during the whole month of June will go into the draw for the top prize, a £750 voucher for a local bike shop or a European break (you can pick which you’d prefer).

During Bike Week itself (8-16 June), we’ll also be offering daily prizes linked to the themes of our #7DaysofCycling:

Enjoying the social side of cycling (see Love to Ride’s Clubs & Groups feature here)

Cycling to school and engaging children in cycling

The mental health benefits of cycling

Businesses boosting their cycle-friendliness

Favourite three-miles - best short routes by bike

Getting fit and healthy through cycling

Travelling from A-B by bike

We’ll be announcing prizes in May, so make sure you register in one minute at to get updates on Bike Week and Love to Ride – you can also follow them on Twitter @LovetoRide_, Facebook and Instagram #getmorepeoplecycling.
