Bike Week is launched each year with a host of MPs, industry leaders and supporters of cycling in London, celebrating the vital contribution cycling makes to our communities, environment and public health in the UK.

Part of the celebration includes a social cycle ride through London, marking the annual All Party Parliamentary Bike Ride.

2019 also saw the inaugural Bike Week Summit, bringing together Bike Week partners – including Cycling UK, Dutch Embassy, Bicycle Association and APPCG – with politicians, practitioners, peers from the trade, health and transport agencies to explore ways to create modal shift, so more people cycle in the UK as the solution to healthier, happier communities.
