Rebecca Charlton is nominated as one of our 100 Women in Cycling 2019 as a positive role model and influencer, encouraging everyone to get on their bikes.

Having ridden from an early age and started racing against boys when there were very few girls racing, Becca has stayed within cycling since.

She encourages everyone - of all ages, skill and ability - to get on their bikes and to enjoy the freedom it gives you. She is an ambassador for Access Sport, and an event host and public speaker, hosting large-scale stage events such as The NEC Cycle Show and The London Bike Show.including hosted all of the women's content with Casquette at the 2019 London Bike Show.

As a sports commentator and presenter, Becca is well recognised from presenting cycling coverage on Eurosport and ITV, including the Women's Tour of Britain and National Roaad Series racing.

In 2018 she worked with the charity Leonard Cheshire to bring a group of cyclists from barely riding a bike to completing Ride London (100 miles). She provided training plans, attended training rides and events and even rode round with them on the day to make sure they finished.

She really is a positive role model and influencer. This year she is running a non drop women's only cycling trip for those that may be nervous of a traditional cycling holiday.
