Online Account Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Online Account FAQs
Online account Changes
Why has the online account system changed?
We've upgraded the way members access their online accounts. The new system provides a smoother online experience and makes it easier to manage your Cycling UK membership online.
You may notice that the login page looks different. Your membership details, benefits and preferences have not changed, but you'll need to create a new password the first time you sign in.
Will my membership be affected by the system upgrade?
No. The upgrade only affects how you access your online account.
Your membership, renewal date, benefits and membership history remain unchanged.
I already have an online account on the old platform. What do I need to do?
Your online account has automatically moved to the new system, so you do not need to register again.
Simply select "Reset your Password" on the login page and follow the instructions to create a new password. Once you've done this, you'll be able to access your account as normal.
Why do I need to change my password?
As part of our recent account upgrade, passwords from the previous system could not be transferred to the new login platform.
To protect your account and keep your information secure, you'll need to create a new password the first time you sign in.
Your membership details, preferences and account information have all been retained.
Can I use my old password?
No. As part of the upgrade, all members need to create a new password before logging in for the first time.
Once you've set your new password, you can continue to use it whenever you access your account.
Accessing your Account
I have just joined. Do I need to create an online account?
No, an online account is automatically created when you join Cycling UK.
You'll receive an email shortly after joining, with a link to set a password and activate your account.
I don't currently use an online account. How do I start using it?
An online account has already been created for all Cycling UK members. To get started:
- Visit the Cycling UK login page
- Click “Reset your password"
- Enter the email address associated with your membership
- Follow the instructions in the email you receive
- Create a password
- Log in to your account
What email address should I use?
You will need to use the email address associated with your Cycling UK membership.
I'm not sure what email address you have on my membership record?
Please email the Membership team and provide your full name, postcode and membership number. We'll help confirm which email address is linked to your membership.
I no longer use the email address on my membership record. What should I do?
Please email the Membership Team with the updated email address you would like to use. Please also provide your old email address, full name and membership number so we can locate your account.
Can I have more than one membership linked to my account?
Yes, you can. For example, if you hold an Individual membership and are also the primary contact for a Group membership, both memberships can be displayed within the same online account, provided they are linked to the same name and email address.
