Janet is 81 and until recently had not cycled since her teens. But Janet is a believer in testing her boundaries and decided to get back in the saddle after taking part in a Cycling UK Big Bike Revival event. After a few initial wobbles, Janet was soon cycling regularly at the Walsall Arboretum Community Cycle Club. A founding member of the club, Janet welcomes and inspires others, particularly older people, to give cycling a go.
Janet is proof that by trying new things and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, you can have fun and make new friends, as well as stay fit. A true role model to us all!
