David Norris 1947 - 2021

David joined what was the CTC in 1967 and became a life member in later years.
As an active cyclist he helped run the Northfield CTC section of the Birmingham & Midland DA and was also the Treasurer for the DA and Section for many years.
He toured extensively in the UK and took part in many overseas tours/holidays.
David could always be relied upon to lead club runs and to help with DA events including the organisation of regional heats of the BCTC competitions.
In the 1980s he piloted a tandem with one of the club members who had lost their sight. In recent years he had to give up cycling due to ill health.
He will be greatly missed.
