Rhian says, “I believe involvement in sport is incredible for boosting women’s confidence and self-esteem and through Threo’s rides and training sessions we have encouraged people to try their first race and they have never looked back! I am incredibly proud of the community of strong, competitive women we have built.

“I love encouraging more women into cycling, into what is a traditionally male dominated sport - and helping women realise that it is in fact an incredibly welcoming community. I'm passionate about speaking up for women in sport, and for encouraging equality in participation, representation and in terms of prize money!

“Personally, I love cycling and racing for the challenge of it, and there is nothing I love more than a long ride through winding lanes and hills with friends, ending in coffee!”

Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling is an annual list celebrating inspirational women who are encouraging others to take part in this wonderful and life-enhancing activity.
