The UK government has published its first GB-wide Road Safety Strategy in ten years, aiming to cut road deaths and injuries by 65% by 2035. It’s a major step forward and reflects years of campaigning.
But there’s one thing that’s missing. There's no plan to promote the Highway Code, even though most people still aren’t aware of the new rules from 2022. Four years on, it’s time to fix that.
