Helping out at the open day

Helping out at the open day

We recently held an open day at the centre to showcase the inclusive cycling and to engage people that pass on the NCN.

Lots of helpers turned out including participants, Chester Cycling Campaign, local Sustrans rangers, CTC members and other local volunteers.

Many people didn't really know that the adaptive bikes were there but were very interested once they saw them.

The Friends of Give it a Spin would like to have more open days and showcasing event so that people can come along and take a look or try out the bikes.

They are also busy raising funds for another wheelchair carrying bike as the one they have is very, very popular and people often have to wait a long time for a go!
