Helen quickly fell in love with cycling, and has competed in triathlons, duathlons and quadrathlons on the national and international age group stage. She is committed to using her profile to promote equality and fight discrimination in sport. She’s fundraised for charities, helped promote the Pride UK LGBT History Ride and organised her own virtual Women’s History Ride.
