Nominations are now open for 100 Women in Cycling 2023. Cycling UK is looking to you to help us highlight extraordinary women who promote cycling and encourage others to take part.

We will be celebrating inspirational women who are leading by example and empowering women and sharing the wellbeing benefits of cycling.

Women from all walks of life and every corner of the cycling world can be nominated, from mountain bikers and endurance cyclists to community group leaders, cycling school-run mums and industry entrepreneurs.

We're asking you to nominate your female role models so that we can celebrate our 100 Women in Cycling as part of our continuing quest to address the gender imbalance in cycling.

About the person you're nominating

Tell us a bit about the person you'd like to nominate for the 100 Women in Cycling 2023

Community champion
The unsung heroes of cycling groups. These women teach others how to ride, lead rides and organise groups. They support and encourage, and help us find our confidence.

Sporting hero
Women who have achieved in the sport of cycling.

Cycle influencer
People who are in a position to inspire others; they could be members of Parliament or the press, celebrities or business leaders who have promoted cycling to their followers or employees.

Industry mogul
Women who are breaking down barriers and creating female friendly spaces in the cycling world. They run bike repair shops, help teach women to fix bikes, run cycling related companies or build and design new bikes.

About the 100 Women in Cycling

Cycling UK's 100 Women in Cycling is a list which highlights and celebrates women who love cycling and encourage others to too. 

Since the 100 Women started in 2017 women have been nominated from all walks of life and every corner of the cycling world has been included. From mountain bikers and endurance cyclists to community group leaders, cycling school-run mums and industry entrepreneurs the list celebrates the diversity of women in cycling.
