Volunteer hub

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your local community, as well as boost your own wellbeing and learn new skills. Cycling UK has all kinds of volunteering options and will provide all the support you need in your volunteering journey

What is it like to volunteer for Cycling UK?

Become a volunteer

Whether you would like to lead rides, help organise events, set up and run a new cycling group, get involved in campaigning or complete small online tasks (micro-volunteer), we can support you to volunteer in a role and at a level that works for you.

You may want to give something back to the community, make a difference to the people around you, or simply find a rewarding opportunity that helps you develop new skills or build on existing experience.

Whatever your reasons, we can support you to do this, and at the same time, you can empower, enable and inspire others to cycle too.

Supporting group volunteers

Cycling UK has a network of hundreds of local cycling groups. We provide a wide range of advice and resources for them. Contact the volunteer team to find out more.

We also have numerous behaviour change and community cycling projects throughout the country, supported by Cycling UK cycling development officers, which provide local volunteering opportunities in cycling.
