The Women's Festival of Cycling

The Women's Festival of Cycling

The Women's Festival of Cycling is taking place throughout July 2018, why not join or organise a ride to encourage and inspire women to cycle.
Women are often underrepresented when it comes to cycling. The reasons for this are complex but the physical and mental health and well-being benefits of taking part for women are especially high. Some women need extra encouragement to start and continue cycling, while many others just enjoy riding in female company so, after last year's successful inaugural event, Cycling UK is again organising the Women's Festival of Cycling, which takes place throughout the UK this July. We are calling on everybody, from cycling groups and clubs to individuals to register a women-only ride and inspire others to take part in this wonderful activity.
