Video: Scotland's Big Bike Revival

The Big Bike Revival took place across Scotland this summer, helping people to fall in love with cycling again. From 1 May - 11 June events took place all across the country to get bikes out the shed and back on the road.

It's hard to sum up a summer of around 500 events across every local authority area in Scotland, the hard work and dedication of 107 community groups, and the joy that cycling brings to people who haven't cycled regularly for years, but we've tried to capture a snapshot of the Big Bike Revival project with this short video.

Get a flavour of what happened across Scotland, including led rides, confidence and skills sessions, Dr Bikes, fix your own bike opportunities and cycling celebrations.

The Big Bike Revival visited everywhere from Shetland to the Scottish Borders and inspired thousands of people to get cycling again for everyday trips. We spoke to community groups and participants to find out what the Big Bike Revival means to them and the difference the project has made to their cycling.
