New Year, New Kit Competition

The current Cycling UK jersey in action at the Tour of the Hills Challenge Ride 2018

New Year, New Kit Competition

With a busy year of cycling ahead, we hope you can help us with the redesign of the Cycling UK jersey so we can ride into 2019 with a smart new clothing range.

There's nothing quite like having new kit to renew your enthusiasm for getting out on the bike. We know that many of you are enthusiastic about your cycling clothing so we really want your input. Help us by sending in your ideas and decide the future of Cycling UK's cycling kit.

How it will work

  • Send us your suggestions by uploading a document with your design using the entry form below.
  • We'll pick the best ones and put them up for a public vote.
  • You'll get to pick your favourite - and the most popular will be the new Cycling UK kit.

Rules

  • Enter as many different designs as you like.
  • You can submit anything that clearly shows/describes your design.
  • Accepted file formats are GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, DOC, DOCX.
  • There are no prizes for technically brilliant drawings; as long as we can see the design we'll consider your entry. We've got creative people to turn your idea into something that looks great!
  • Entries must be submitted by 20 January 2019.

Ideas

Are you going for subtle changes to the current look or a complete redesign? One colour, or several? Stripes, bands, or even spots - anything goes.

The Cycling UK brand colours are blue and yellow so that may influence your design, or maybe you want a return to the very first Bicycle Touring Club club uniform issued (1879) in the colour of green?

Something funky, or something classic? A retro feel or a modern style? You decide!

Entry Form

Competition

As if helping choose the new kit wasn't enough of an incentive, everyone who submits a design and votes in the resulting poll will be entered into a prize draw to win a cycling kit in the new Cycling UK design!

To be entered in the prize draw, submit your name and email along with your design above.

With 65,000 members and thousands more supporters, we know we can't please everyone. But look out for our new partnership that will bring you the opportunity to design your own custom club kit - whether you ride for a Cycling UK group or just want to show your support for the national cycling charity. Details will be released in early 2019 but you can express an interest by contacting shop@cyclinguk.org
