About us

Hop On has launched a series of cycling activities targeting women and girls of different cultures and backgrounds, we create a safe environment through cycling and social interactions to:

  • Connect communities together
  • Empower and inspire women and girls to build confidence
  • Freely discuss issues they face in their everyday lives
  • To create a support group
  • Create awareness of domestic abuse and cultural differences
  • Tackle barriers in getting South Asian women and girls to ride bikes
  • Provide Inclusive cycling for people with mental and physical disabilities and their carers
  • To improve their health and wellbeing and that of their families

Our groups are more like families. The only difference is when they are with us they are in no role play, like a mother, daughter, wife or sister. They are their true selves and they are given a safe environment to express themselves freely from which they grow.

We believe it’s not just about the bike, it’s about the psychological benefits that the activity provides. It is that which drives us and ignites the passion in all the work that we do.
