Active For Life (Port of Plymouth Guild)
Active for Life is a service which supports and promotes physical activity in adults with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities.
The aim of Active for Life is to improve health and well-being by helping people find something active they can do regularly and enjoy.
We offer a number of services to support this including;
- Regular activities delivered in the local community, which include; Boccia, football and walking (regular community activities).
- Courses of taster sessions to encourage people to try different activities to assist with finding something they enjoy (taster session).
- A buddying service which provides support for the first few weeks at a new activity or sports club (buddying).
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
We are closed on all Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year.
