Ride Bolsover are a Cycling UK affiliated group, and members of The Conservation Volunteers.
Ride Bolsover is a campaign group and network of volunteers striving to improve the network of Greenways (Multi User Trails) and connected cycleways around the area surrounding Bolsover, up to the extent of potential connections to existing National trails such as the Trans Pennine Trail, NCN6, Chesterfield Canal and the Pheonix Greenways, with smaller community links being created to connect as many people as possible to these community assets
We focus our efforts on segregated off road routes wherever possible, striving to reclaim disused railways, upgraded existing rights of ways and create new connections to give a cohesive, joined up network for cyclists, walkers runners and horse riders (where possible) to enjoy.
Closely allied to Bolsover & District Cycling Club, we also engage with the regional Ramblers groups, running clubs, British Horse Society, and local running and Nordic Walking groups to act as a cohesive voice for those user groups benefiting from an improved shared cycling and walking network
As a campaign group, this group does not currently promote rides
