Our Rides Schedule

Come on out, you know you want to!

Click on the: The Rides List  for all our group rides which should give you the information you need to decide if the ride is suitable for you, such as starting place and time, 11's cafe and pace.

Feel free to contact us with any questions you have.

We have a programme of circular rides for adults on Sunday mornings all the year round on quiet rural lanes wherever possible.

The rides are mostly on-road or occasional sections such as the Greenway track near Waddesdon and start from different places in Aylesbury and the surrounding villages. Many of the rides depart at 09:00 or 09:30, but leaders may choose to start earlier particularly if they have planned a longer ride in summer or later in Winter.

There is no set starting place and time so you do need to: look at our Rides List each time.

Newcomers is a shorter ride of 15 to 20 miles at a nice easy pace of 8 to 10 miles an hour. It is the best group to start with.

Easy Pace is a longer ride of about 30 miles and around 10 to 12 miles an hour.  This group is for regular riders who would like to do a bit more.

Step up is a longer and faster ride of up to 45 miles at around 12 to 14 miles an hour and for stronger riders who want to push themselves.

Moderate is our fast group for more energetic riders and can be around 50 miles at 14+ miles an hour.

We welcome new riders, who do not have to be Cycling UK members at first.  If you are not a member of Cycling UK, you will be asked to fill in a guest registration form giving emergency contact information as a requirement of Cycling UK's insurers.  Cycling UK members are covered by Third Party insurance and our leaders are also registered with Cycling UK and insured.

After three rides with us we ask that you join Cycling UK, which you can do on-line here This provides cycle insurance for you, legal support after an accident and a regular magazine with great articles on all sorts of cycling activities within Cycling UK.

Rides typically start from Watermead Inn HP19 0FX, Weston Turville Shops HP22 6DU, The Bugle Horn in Stone HP17 8QP, Wendover Clocktower HP22 6DU, Aston Clinton Park HP22 5JL,  Marsh Railway crossing HP17 8SN, The Grange School HP21 7NH and Stone Pond HP17 8RG.  You can find the starting places on the interactive map by clicking the link below.

The dark blue markers on the map are our meeting places and the pink ones show popular cafes that we have visited on rides.
