Come to hear the guest speakers at our AGM.

 

Our AGM is in one month’s time, on Thursday 7th November at 6.30 pm in the Eric Liddell Centre, 15 Morningside Road, EH10 4 DP.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  Please let me know asap if you have any access requirements.  Tea /Coffee and nibbles are provided and you are welcome to BYOB/ wine etc.  The papers will be circulated in due course and published on the website.  Robert Virtue who has served on the committee for 7 years is stepping down and so nominations are now invited for committee.  Please contact any member of the committee.  Contact details below.

 

Following completion of business, we have 2 guest speakers:

Firstly, Daisy Narayanan, Director of Urbanism at Sustrans, currently lead officer on the Central Edinburgh Transformation project will talk us through the plans with time for your questions, followed by Esmond Sage our development officer from Cycling UK who will share his experience of the Paris-Brest-Paris Randonnée -1200km in under 90 hours- whoa!

 

We look forward to seeing you there for a productive and entertaining evening!

Check out our new meet point in Redhall Park.

We have a new meeting point for the winter season from October 2019.  This is ideal for rides heading out to West Lothian, via the canal or Water of Leith Path.  You can find it via Kilncroftside which is first left off Redhall Drive. Alternatively you can take the exit off the canal at the bridge that leads to the Water of Leith path. Check out the photos in the Gallery below.

Dates for your Diaries!

Our Annual General Meeting will be held in the evening of Thursday 7th November 2019, at the Eric Liddell Centre, 15 Morningside Road, EH10 4DP.  A sociable evening with Guest Speakers Daisy Narayanan from Sustrans discussing with us the Edinburgh City Centre Transformation plans and Esmond Sage from Cycling UK sharing his experience of the Paris-Brest-Paris Randonee. 1200km in under 90 hours- whoa!

CTC Lothians and Borders Christmas Lunch will take pace at the Merchants Golf Club on Saturday 7th December 2019.  Always a lovely occasion with great food, quiz and prizes.
