About us
  • AIM :

  • To promote cycling

  • To encourage more people in the Elgin/Moray area to take up cycling/ renew their interest in cycling

  • To increase public awareness of the  physical and mental health benefits of cycling

  • To provide the support of Cycling UK ride leaders on local ride

We are a club that was established at the start of April 2019. Whilst there are Cycling UK affiliated groups in NE Scotland and Inverness, there isnt  a group /club akin to the Grampian or Highland CTC in the Moray area. There are traditional road cycling clubs such as Elgin CC and Forres CC and on a less formal basis, Moray Wheelers. I felt there was a need and provision for a broader range of cyclists, some of whom may already be Cycling UK members, those returning cyclists and some who have not cycled before and who would like to improve their physical and mental health.  The impetus has been the big Bike Revival and the aim is to have a club that gives the support, security and confidence for cycling in a social, community environment.  In the course of time we hope to establish a club that is a broad church for people wanting short social rides but also enjoy, sportives, audax ,off road, multi day tours At the present we meet every other Saturday at 0930 at Elgin Library/Cobbs Café in Elgin. Average speed is no more than 10-12 mph.

See runs list in word attachment below.

New/guest members are welcome to try out for up to three rides before committing. PLEASE NOTE BELOW:
