The Bothy are a Cycling UK affiliated group and alligned with Ride 63. We aim to provide a cycle club which cater at all abilities by offering a range of group rides from people wishing to build their on-road confidence with short rides, those wishing to start exploring 20 and 30 miles rides, those wishing to experience a bit of adventure bikes and those who are really just there for the coffee stops and a good chance to meet people.
The Bothy runs a range of events and works with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver all aspects of cycling - from maintenance classes to tandem bike rides and everything in between. We are open to suggestions too so please let us know if there is something specific you would like to see at the Bothy.
Based in a wonderful part of the world, the Bothy rides are an ideal way to explore Inverclyde and Argyll & Bute.
Keep in touch with our events through our Facebook page.
The Bothy is delighted to deliver "Better Biking" sessions in Inverclyde.
These sessions are aimed at developing the confidence of cyclists to equip them with the skills to ride with confidence and safely on roads should they wish. The sessions should be great fun and you will be able to ask any questions you have to our experienced instructors.
Sessions begin on 25th September in two locations.
10am - meet outside the Esplanade Cafe in Greenock
10am - meet outside the Job Pullman in Kilmacolm
The sessions run for two hours every Tuesday from 25th September up to and including 30th October.
You need to bring a roadworthy bike with you to the sessions and dress for the weather. Sessions will always end with a coffee or tea!
