Stafford Road Club Charity Ride

Group of people riding

Event description

This year we are helping to raise funds for Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire Blood Bikes. This is a local charity which provides an invaluable service and is supported by one of our members Roger Morris. You can find our more here https://shropshireandstaffordshirebloodbikes.wordpress.com/

Event Info:

The event is ‘open to all’ and riders have a choice of 2 routes suitable for all abilities (the family route using traffic free cycle paths over 12 miles will now be run later in the year).  There is a 50 and 63 mile route on roads that will take riders through some of the most beautiful countryside in our region.

Sign ups from 8.30, ride starts between 9 and 9.30

Road routes:

The road routes will take riders out over Cannock Chase and through Abbots Bromley. There riders will have a choice of heading north toward Uttoxeter before turning for Stafford (50 miles), or continuing up into the Staffordshire Moorlands (63 miles) for some seriously steep and challenging climbs.
