Social ride/picnic

You are invited to a get-together on Saturday July 24th. We will meet at Easingwold, for coffee from 10.45am. There are two adjacent cafes in the market place, both with outside (and inside) tables – The Fika Room and TeaHee!  There are other cafes in Easingwold if these are full. We will aim to leave at 11.30am from the Fika Room/TeaHee! for a short ride (about 12 miles) to Boroughbridge for a ‘mass’ picnic lunch in the riverside picnic site by the roundabout at the north end of town. There are a few picnic tables near the bridge and some benches near the weir and plenty of grass! There are shops in the town centre if you don’t want to carry your food with you. It would be great to see lots of people there, whether you ride with York CTC, York Wednesday Wheelers, Thirsk Ladies or any of the many other groups and clubs in the area, or normally ride alone. After lunch you can head off in small groups or alone, back home or back to Easingwold if you have parked your car there (or live there!)
