London to Brighton Off-road

Stats: 100km with 1,250 metres of climbing
Start: Kempton Racecourse, London, TW16 5AQ
Finish: Brighton seafront, BN3 2WN
Terrain: A mix of dirt, gravel, tarmac, roots, sand, stone and grass. Some technical sections along the way, and three big hills, but suitable for gravel bikes.
The ride: Set off from London, and weaving your way alongside the river becoming leaving the urban sprawl behind you, and glide through the woodland and singletrack trails. A couple of big hills stand in your way before you make the final push up onto the South Downs, where you feel the cool sea breeze and see the sights of Brighton down below you. All that is left is a fun, fast nd furious descent to finish the ride, where you cruise along the seafront to finish your epic adventure, with feet dipped in the refreshing cold sea while you munch on fish'n'chips and an ice cream while reflecting on your memorable day and achievement.
What’s included: Signed route, gpx, pdf route map, support riders and vehicle (with tools and spares), water and snacks.
What’s not included: Meals, such as lunch - please bring basic tools, minimum of 2 litres water and food.
NOTE: Riders should be experienced, have a well serviced and suitable bike, as well as appropriate clothing and equipment to be self sufficient for significant durations of time.
