Horseshoe Point (postponed from June)

Meet up at Louth Meridian Leisure Centre at 09.30 am for a ride to Horseshoe Point for Reg’s Birthday Ride.

Initially, we'll be stopping off at 'South Gates', Eastfield Lane, Grimoldby (5 miles) to meet up with Reg. Then a route through South Cockerington, Yarborough, Covenham and Marshchapel before heading along Sheep Marsh Lane to  Horseshoe Point (18 miles). Bring a flask and refreshments for the views across the Humber Estuary.

On return we'll head off along Abbey Road at Alvingham for a photo opportunity at the Water Mill before passing by the village stocks and whipping post at the end of Church Lane. Back at 'South Gates' (29 miles) Reg has kindly invited us to take refreshments before tackling the final leg to Louth. Total distance 39 miles.
