Gospel Pass

Car or train-assisted moderate 50 mile ride from Abergavenny to Hay-on-Wye, heading out along the Monnow Valley through Craswall, and returning over the Gospel Pass. Two strenuous climbs, fantastic descents, and sublime views, as well as what is arguably the best lane in SE Wales. Meet 10.15 a.m. at the Oasis Snack Bar, Abergavenny, NP7 5LH, for a cup of tea and a 10.30 a.m. departure. We’ll visit a café or pub in Hay for lunch, but bring a packed lunch as back-up.
