We are pleased to announce visits to the estates of our local castles with thanks to Sir David Hoare, Luscombe Castle and The Earl and Countess of Devon, Powderham Castle.



Bring out your beautiful old bicycles! Save the date Sun 27 May 2018! Pre 1987 racing (Eroica specification), elegant ladies' and gentlemen's, trade bicycles (if you have the strength). We would love to have some more tandems and trikes too. Short and flattish 2 1/2 m ride visiting Luscombe Castle and Dawlish museum with tea and picnic luncheon at Dawlish Manor. Afternoon, about 19 mile ride along the coast towards Exeter with tea at Powderham Castle and return.

Parade 'show and tell' the stories of your beloved steeds. Vintage bicycles and attire 1920's-60's using the new cycle paths where possible.



Celebrating 200 years since the first bicycle. With live music from bands including The Liberty Sisters with songs from WW2 and a special display of Sarah Piercy's amazing hand powered trikes covering many decades of social history. Bicycle jumble, electric assisted bicycles etc. Market on the Piazza with free face painting. 



It's a great opportunity to meet with other like minded folk and enjoy the fabulous countryside, Lyme Bay and the river Exe.
