C&NW CTC Corwen Audax Events October

A choice of 3 Audax events starting from Corwen:

The Clwydian

Starts 8am

212km cycling event starting from Corwen, N. Wales. Controls at Llangwm, Loggerheads and Pensarn, plus 5 information controls.



A scenic and continuously interesting route giving a taste of all the delights of North Wales---Lakes, leafy lanes, hills (lots) and the sea. Last 20k is all downhill.

The Clwyd Gate

Starts at 8.30am ( please don't arrive before 8am)

138km cycling event starting from Corwen, N. Wales. Controls at Ponderosa Cafe, Ruthin and Pensarn, plus 3 information controls.



A varied and scenic route through lovely North Wales ---rivers, a hidden valley, leafy lanes, hills (lots) and the sea. Last 20k is all downhill.

The Bala Mini- Bash

60km cycling event starting from Corwen, N. Wales. Controls at Llanuwchllyn, plus 1 information control.



A scenic and not too demanding ride---winding roads, narrow lanes, a beautiful lake and a few minor hills. Designed as an introduction to Audax riding and/or a delightful excursion in beautiful North Wales.

Start at 9.00am ( please don't arrive before 8.30am)

Closing date for entries  7th October. No entries on the line.
