Celebration Ride - Fallowfield Loop - Men's Shed Visit

Join Sow the City and the Moss Side Men's Shed for a tour of two Men's Shed sites, with a lovely (and mainly off-road) cycle on the Fallowfield Route linking the two!

Men’s sheds (www.menssheds.org.uk) are an established model where a community space is created for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but are for groups of men to enjoy together. They help to reduce loneliness and isolation but most importantly they’re fun. Come along to take a look if you are interested in joining, or curious to see what happens at a Men's Shed. 

We will start the cycle after lunch from the Moss Side Men's Shed (Boiler House, Moss Side M16 7DA). We'll then cycle, first via Alexandra Park, and then the Fallowfield Loop, a 6.2mile route to the Debdale Men's Shed (Hyde Road, Manchester M18 7LJ). Here, Chris from the group will give us a tour around their new Men's Shed site, the Debdale Outdoor Centre and their allotment. Following this, you can join us on the route back, or leave us en-route.
