Bolton

Group ride

Event description

Friends,

Wednesday's ride will be a tour of East Lothian to marvel at the colours of the turning trees and the freshly worked fields that have mostly given up their seasonal produce. It will be a shorter ride than usual coming in at just under 40 miles. There could be a little light rain in the morning before the sun comes out to brighten the day and lift our spirits.

We meet at Fisherrow at 0950 ready for a 10am start, we will admire the views from Fa'side Castle before sweeping down to Tranent for a toilet stop. Our lunch stop will be at Bolton Village hall after 22 miles of riding.

After lunch it will be Haddington, the railway path, St Germains railway crossing and the coast road back to Fisherrow with afternoon tea at Lucas
