50 in 4 hrs

The event started in 1967 and has taken place most years except when cancelled due to adverse weather.  With 2,750 ft of climb and 2,650 ft descent the event passes over the North York Moors (Bilsdale) through Helmsley, Sutton Bank, Thirsk and Northallerton.  It finishes at Brompton nr Northallerton(w3w)objective.loose.scanning which is a bus stop.  This has always been a reliability event and needs to be completed within 4 hrs of starting.  It will only suit experienced cyclists capable of tacking some steep rises and descents To keep costs down to an absolute minimum all riders need to have their own back up
