Big Bike Revival Events
As the national cycling charity, Cycling UK continues to support the UK’s population to cycle. This remains true during this difficult period with the ongoing threat of coronavirus.
We take the safety and welfare of our staff, volunteers, members participants of our rides, beneficiaries of our programmes and the general public incredibly seriously.
That’s why we’re keeping a close eye on the advice from the government and NHS and following best practice to minimise risk.
We have now taken the decision to cancel all group activities. A full update can be found here.
All Big Bike Revival events and training must therefore be postponed with immediate effect. If you have received a Big Bike Revival Grant yet have been unable to fully spend the grant amount then this can be used to organise a Big Bike Revival event in the future.
Cycling remains a great way to keep fit and active and is a good way to boost immunity, but we are advising cyclists should avoid riding in groups and urge them to undertake solo rides only for the foreseeable future.
Of course, we will continue to follow the latest advice and post updates on our website.
We appreciate your understanding in this difficult period.
