World's Biggest Bike Ride

World's Biggest Bike Ride

For Bike Week 2020, Cycling UK is going big and we want you to join us, so save the date - Saturday 13 June 2020.

Cycling UK is launching a new challenge for Bike Week called the World’s Biggest Bike Ride. The aim is to get as many people as possible cycling on one day: Saturday 13 June.

We are encouraging everyone to embrace their bike, celebrate cycling and really enjoy a ride – no matter how far, fast or slow you go.

Whether it’s toddlers together on balance bikes, seasoned club cyclists on café rides, or mates on mountain bikes, the type, duration and distance of the rides don’t matter.

Join in the World's Biggest Bike Ride, Cycling UK’s brand new challenge for Bike Week 2020. Anyone can get involved, whether its with friends, kids, colleagues or a local club, its so simple to take part.

Cycling UK would like to get Britain on their bikes on Saturday 13 June, so we want everyone across the UK to register a bike ride on this date – creating the Worlds Biggest Bike Ride in one day.

Bike Week encourages everyone to experience cycling in whichever way is suitable for them. A quarter of a million people are expected to join in events, and perhaps switch to cycling as the most convenient way to get around as they rethink their everyday journeys.

Bike Week is delivered each year by Cycling UK, in partnership in Scotland with Cycling Scotland. In 2020, it runs from Saturday 6 to Sunday 14 June.

Further details on how to be part of the World's Biggest Bike Ride are coming soon.
