Selina Aktar

Selina started out cycling with Ashiana Community Cycle Club, before deciding she wanted to have an active role in helping to get the club going. Selina completed ride leader training, and three months ago completed Bikeability training too. She now helps run Ashiana’s women-only learn to ride sessions, which often help ladies who never had the chance to ride in childhood due to cultural barriers.

Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling is an annual list celebrating inspirational women who are encouraging others to take part in this wonderful and life-enhancing activity.
