Salary: £26,000 pro-rata for 18 hours per week
Location: Based in Northern Ireland, predominantly Belfast
Contract: Part-time and permanent

Could you identify and pursue opportunities to increase the number of people cycling in Northern Ireland?

To include scoping opportunities, establishing and building relationships, influencing decision makers, and growing Cycling UK’s network of volunteers in Northern Ireland.

The Engagement Officer will report to Cycling UK’s Head of Campaigns and Advocacy, whilst also liaising with Cycling UK’s Volunteering, Engagement, Policy and Development Teams.

This will be Cycling UK’s first permanent post in Northern Ireland.

The role involves identifying opportunities to get more people cycling in Northern Ireland by influencing decision makers, through membership and supporter engagement with campaigns, by partnership working with businesses and other organisations, and through projects.

This role requires the ability to establish and form relationships, to identify and prioritise opportunities, and the self-discipline to work independently, if you could do that, then we would love to hear from you.
