Harrogate Wheel Easy a CTC affiliated group was formed in May 2006, on the 31 Dec 2009 it had 219 members with rides every Sunday and Wednesday. The Sundays attract 40-60 members, Wednesdays 25-30 members. Local café support is legendary on all rides!

Members form the core of the local Sustrans Rangers group which in 12 months has carried out 700 hours maintenance work on the local cycle network. Wheel Easy works with the National Trust, St. Michael’s Hospice, Acorn Charity and Cyclists Fighting Cancer giving advice and support to charity bike rides in and around Harrogate. Wheel Easy organised a ‘0-30 in 3 months’ project encouraging beginners to ride 30 miles at the end of a three month programme.

Harrogate Wheel Easy members are a major force in campaigning for better cycling facilities in the area too.
