This is not compulsary, but it will help us to tailor the Dr Bike training sessions to peoples training requirements

Please indicate which t-shirt size you will need your volunteer uniform to be.

Please indicate what dietary requirement you have.

Lead a team of 10 Dr Bike volunteers at one of the 5 locations. Individuals with bicycle mechanic qualifications will have their applications prioritised.

We need you to:
Be committed to our equal opportunities policy and uphold it in all that you do inside and outside our organisation;
Tell us if you cannot make it in, for your arranged volunteering time, or if you’re going to be late;
Tell us when we are not supporting you in the way you need us to - we really welcome feedback so we can get better at doing what we do;
Follow all the policies and guidance we give you and if you have any questions stop and ask us;
Talk to us - about the good and the bad, we welcome new ideas and often find a fresh view can give us a new perspective, we also need to know if there are any problems that you are facing so we can try to help sort them out; Bear in mind that you represent us, make sure you think about what you say when you deal with outside agencies; Treat staff, our resources and other volunteers with respect.

To provide adequate information, training, resources and assistance so that you are able to meet the responsibilities of your volunteering role.
To ensure you get appropriate supervisory support and provide feedback on your performance.

To treat you as an equal partner with our organisation’s staff, jointly responsible for completion of the organisation’s goals and the fulfillment of its mission.
This agreement is written in the spirit of volunteering, we respect volunteers’ rights to give their time freely without creating any formal obligation. This agreement does not create any contract between you and us.
I understand what CTC, the national cycling charity is offering me and what it expects from me.

If you are from the European Union, you are free to volunteer in the UK. For those from outside the EU, you will need to check that your visa allows you to volunteer. We advise that you contact the UK Borders and Immigration Agency to find out. CTC is not able to sponsor volunteer visas.

Your details will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and 2003. They will be held securely and confidentially. They will be accessed by authorised management.
