CTC is appealing for people to donate children’s bikes after heartless thieves stole 12 cycles used for popular after-school sessions in Reading. The bikes were taken during a break-in at Palmer Park Sports Stadium during the early hours of Tuesday 15 December.

We're all feeling a bit too full, sluggish, tired, and cosy indoors as Christmas Day is nearly upon us once more. But what if you want to find some motivation to get outdoors and into the saddle? Here are my top ten tips for cycling over the festive period.

 
 
Swale CTC made the most of the unseasonably weather this week on its annual ​​Christmas Ride yesterday along the north Kent coast. A record 23 riders, many of whom were dressed in festive outfits, attended. Group member Miriam was inspired by the event to write a poem to celebrate.
