Searching for Bicycle Mechanics for NSPCC Tour of England
We are providing mechanical support again this year for the Pro Peloton Events at the 'NSPCC Tour of England'. Its the closest thing you can get to competing in a real professional bicycle race and as a Bicycle Mechanic you will get the opportunity to perform fast wheel changes from the team car or maybe lean out the window to do one of those essential adjustments on the fly!
There are 4 events in 4 different areas of England:
Tour of the South East - 6-7 June 2015
Tour of Yorkshire - 20-21 June 2015
Tour of the Cotswolds - 4-5 July 2015
Tour of Mercia - 18-19 July 2015
In return for volunteering on these events, you will get accommodation on the Saturday evening as well as attending the 'Yellow Jersey Dinner', food and refreshments throughout the event and even a polo shirt!

This was so much fun, I learnt a lot about how to be quick but also efficient, it was great to be able to help cyclists achieve goals too... High point was listening to and meeting Barry Hoban at the dinner! Even helping to clean 150 bicycles on the Saturday before dinner was an entertaining experience!"
