The National Standards for Cycle Training, AKA Bikeability, were updated in 2013. The update has been carried out on behalf of the Department for Transport and in consultation with instructors and Instructor Training Organisations. The new standards are now on the Bikeability website .

Cycling UK provides a range of continued professional development  (CPD) courses for National Standard instructors. Instructors registered with Cycling UK receive a discount on all Cycling UK's CPD courses.

Register with Cycling UK
Every National Standard instructor must be registered with an Instructor Training Organisation (ITO). You can register with Cycling UK even if you trained with another ITO and you can be registered with more then one. Registration with Cycling UK is free and allows you to advertise on our Instructor site.
